Manure removal from pasture without intensive labour!
It is spring, which for many horse owners means that the grazing season is about to start. Many horses will soon walk for several hours to whole days in the meadow again. Unfortunately, what is regularly forgotten is that the meadows also need to be mucked out. This is not only pleasing to the eye, but especially important to prevent horses from getting a worm infection. Mucking out pastures is usually intensive and clumsy work. This can be a thing of the past forever with the fantastic machine we have in our range. We are sure that after reading this blog, you will want the machine.
Large hoover
The Equimunda is a huge hoover specially designed to remove manure from pastures. An additional advantage is that the manure vacuum cleaner is very easy and convenient to use. The length-adjustable drawbar of the manure vacuum, is fitted with a drawbar coupling or towing eye. This allows the vacuum to be coupled behind almost any vehicle with a tow bar. It is even possible, due to its low weight, to attach the manure trailer behind a mini tractor. Thanks to the high suction power of the manure vacuum, the removal of fresh as well as older manure is no problem at all.
Less deworming
Regularly mucking out pastures is important for several reasons. The main reason is to prevent larvae from getting into the manure that is still in the pasture. These larvae cause the horses to become infested with worms. Especially with the high temperatures, there are more insects and the larvae develop quickly. Nowadays, many horses are wormed at least four times a year, resulting in the larvae becoming resistant to the worming medicine. Research by several vets shows that horses can be dewormed less when pastures are carefully maintained and as manure-free as possible. Another reason to buy Equimunda!
Quiet rotor
The manure vacuum not only contributes to lower labour intensity and the health of the horses. The Equimunda is also a great invention for the environment. As with the latest hoovers, the Equimunda is designed so that the motor is tremendously quiet and causes little to no noise pollution. This is made possible because the manure truck is driven by the special Bosch Rexroth hydraulic rotor. It is possible to drive hydraulically by means of a PTO or hydraulically directly from the tractor or articulated loader, provided it has an oil tank. In addition, the Equimunda can also be expanded with a fuel engine and a valve block.
